Footings and Base Plates

Contains controls that let you specify the footings and base plates, and whether or not to place them when you place the steel framed building.

Setting	Description
Base Plates	Catalog Type — Sets and lets you modify the DatGroup catalog type for the base plates. The selection made here populates the Catalog Instance options. Catalog Instance — Sets and lets you modify the DatGroup catalog instance for the base plates. Width X — Sets the measurement of the base plate's width measured in the X-axis direction. Width Y — Sets the measurement of the base plate's width measured in the Y-axis direction. Plate Thickness — Sets the thickness of the base plate.
Footings and Piers	Place Footings, Piers, Base Plates — When on, enables the placement of footings, piers, and base plates as specified in this tab. Catalog Type — Sets and lets you modify the DatGroup catalog type for the footings and piers. The selection made here populates the Catalog Instance options. Catalog Instance — Sets and lets you modify the DatGroup catalog instance for the footings and piers. Footing Width — Sets the width of the footing. Footing Thickness — Sets the thickness of the footing. Pier Width — Sets the width of the pier. Pier Height — Sets the height of the pier.
